What used to be casual is becoming anything but.
I started seeing someone at the beginning of the year that had gotten out of a terrible manipulative relationship and when we first met we agreed things would be casual. We would only meet up one day a week and although we would talk most days we would keep it light hearted. As time progressed our no strings attached relationship started to have more and more strings as our conversations ultimately ended up getting deeper and we found out there were interests, hobbies, and a number of people we had in common. We end up going through a pretty bad health scare and we went from our friends generally having a limited knowledge of us together to us hanging out and meeting each other's best friends. We've met some of each other's family members as and now know about all of each other's exes and failed relationships. We now end up hanging out multiple days a week with the occasional weekend trip and we've even started having these conversations about us having feelings and that we're now "stuck" together where neither of us have any real intentions of leaving. We've completely hit this grey area of our relationship where we are no longer completely casual but we haven't completely committed either. I know we're going to have to have to have a real conversation and re-DTR soon, it feels like we've started to walk in a landmine field of what is and isn't appropriate.
