I realize a lot of people have heard this before, but let me remind you. If you are the one doing all of the work expecting them to change, stop wasting your time and leave! If someone wants to be with you they will do whatever it takes to make it work. If you told them something they’re doing (within reason) was bothering you, they would work to fix it. Stop listening to excuses and start looking at actions.
Life is too short to waste your energy on a dead end relationship. If there was ever a time to realize that it’s in a pandemic. Put your time into the people who do the same, whether that’s a new SO or family and friends. Remember that any time you’re wasting investing your emotions into someone is closing the door to other opportunities. Also, you can live a very happy life single and without the burden of a toxic relationship.
The opportunity cost is too great. If you’re not worth their time, they’re not worth yours.
