Met someone cute at an event nearby.. talked for awhile hit it off got their number.
Was texting for awhile until it came off they were MtF trans.
Told them I wasn’t into that and tried to stop conversation so as to not lead them on.
They called me an asshole, transphobic piece of homophobic trash.
Some of my friends also took their side when I told them about it. My other friends actually are transphobic so I didn’t even tell them.
I was told that whether someone has a penis vagina or something else shouldn’t matter just if you like each other..
But like if I’m uncomfortable with it or not into it than that should be my choice I have nothing against trans people it’s just not my thing and I feel I should have that right the same way a woman should be able to choose a man based on height, a man should be able to choose a partner based on looks.. i think it all matters and that no one should be hated on for having a type
If I’m not into trans people I don’t think it’s wrong to tell someone I’m not into them; I think i did it pretty respectfully and I realize it’s not their fault they were born into the wrong body but i just don’t want to have sex with a person who has or has had a penis..
