How do you tell a friend that a guy is wrong for her? My friend has been saying nothing but negative things about her boyfriend for a couple months now but she won't break up with him because she only will acknowledge the good times they've had in the past. It's hard to see how she's been affected by him and she cries about him almost every week. However, no matter how many times I try to remind her of all the negative things about him, she doesn't seem to be able to let go or break up with him.
It's gotten to the point where all our friends have said something to her and even family. It's so easy as an outsider to see everything that is wrong with someone but I find that the person closest to the situation can't quite see it.
Is there a way to get to her or is this wasted effort? I don't want to push her away but I also don't want her to continue going down a negative hole.
