The media has such a big impact on who people are attracted to.

Have any of you guys ever noticed how Asian characters in movies and shows are always shown as nerdy, awkward geeks, and why white guys are always the sexy football players? This has a larger impact than u might think on how women think of Asian men compared to men of other races. Its infuriating constantly seeing Asian men depicted like this. Like how many movies do you see a romantic Asian man for people to look up too. The answer is almost never. (And no, the bad guy in karate movies doesnt count) The fact that this has been going on for decades pisses me the fuck off. It's even gotten to the point that the fucking Chinese government has tired to steal intellectual property to make Asian men look more attractive on the dating scene.
