I’ll just use this past year as an example. I asked out 4 or 5 different girls in 2019, some agreed and actually went on one or two dates with me, others have straight up rejected. Which is fine, but what hurts the most is knowing that each of them have moved on and found a guy meanwhile I’m still struggling and lonely…
Now I know you’ll say: “just move on and forget them. Block and forget”. Problem is, some of these girls are a part of my friend group or in my general environment, so it’s hard to tune them out completely. It’s not about missing them or wanting to be with them either, it’s the fact that they can move on and I can’t. I think I would care less about them finding someone if I had the opportunity to move on as well. Any time I have the chance to take flight, it gets shut down…
Any advice? I know I should be tuning them out but it’s hard not to feel sorry for yourself when it’s the same scenario every time.
