this guy (M 17) that i (F 17) have been talking to for a month or so has been consistently going out of his way to do super nice things for me. he hooked me up with a job at one of the places he works, takes me out for food, and even offered to hook me up with a tattoo artist and someone to buy alcohol for my friends and i. we hang out a couple times a week, and i get coffee at the cafe he works at pretty often too. it’s not one of those ridiculous too-good-to-be-true perfection types of things, there’s still some normalcy to it. for example, sometimes we go half on food and i still always pay for whatever i buy at the cafe myself. still, i can’t tell if this is my trust issues or if it’s starting to seem like he has a hidden agenda of some sort. he seems to think that i’m out of his league, which might be slightly true but i’m still attracted to him and i do like him. all the girls he’s ever dated or gotten with in the past are significantly less objectively attractive than i am, and he has mentioned the fact that he didn’t really feel “comfortable in his own skin” until a few months ago. i guess that’s just part of life at the age we are. just wanted to get some outside perspective on whether i should be raising some questions here.
