I had texted a good bit and then talked on the phone for hours with a girl from OLD. Then, when something she did caused my interest level to go way down, I thought about ghosting her.
But instead, I ended up sending this message:
“Hey there – it’s been fun chatting, but I’m going to leave it here. All the best to you!”
I definitely was not looking forward to the possibility that she might ask for an explanation of why my mind changed. But fortunately, she received my message gracefully, no drama.
Good experience.
