I like this guy and our connection. Last night he was dying to see me earlier than Friday, which is what we planned for and he came over after he got off work. We got to talking and he said “I’m really bad at communication and giving compliments. My exes said the same thing in the past.” He was looking at me like “wow” and I would ask whats on his mind. And he’s just say “you”.
And then at the end of the night after some amazing sex, I casually and jokingly asked him in-between kisses on his way out “you know, I’m not sure how you feel towards me, since you’re so tight lipped and all.”
And he said “I’m bad at discussing these things remember. I gotta keep your on your toes ;)” he said jokingly. And I said “no, really…That stuff doesn’t work on me, I’m just curious.” And he said “wow you’re really trying to rush things” and kept laughing uncomfortably on his way out. Gave me a kiss and left.
We’re both 26 by the way, and he couldn’t even communicate. I told him I wasn’t looking for anything too serious right away, and him saying that I’m “rushing things” by asking a question, doesn’t make sense and is a bit weird.
Before last night, I communicated what I want and he’s been receptive to that, messaging me more often, chatting with me and what not, sort of making some outdoorsy plans together. I feel weird for asking him his intentions now, especially after what he said but at our age it shouldn’t be that hard. Is he just not into me? Thoughts?
