Someone tipped me off to a hookup app called 3fun that is geared toward anyone really whether you are a single, a couple, straight, bi, or gay, and seeking something more casual. The app appears to cater primarily toward couples looking for other couples, though, and the thing that I found to be the most interesting is how many real verified profiles there were of younger (late 20s-early 30s) professional, and attractive couples searching either for another couple to "play" with.
Call me naive, but I guess I didn't expect that there'd be so many conventionally attractive people with "normal" lives and professional careers on the app. Occasionally there's the goth couples, the hippies, and the alternative types, or the sleazy older couple on there, but there were so many young couples featuring very basic bros and girls randing from nerds to gym types on there.
The thing that probably hit me hard about it all is this: Being conventionally attractive already has its perks with dating and hookups. Now it seems as though even when those people do find relationships, they want to bring it to the next level by swinging or having threesomes, and it's easier than ever thanks to these apps.
No judgement on my end whatsoever, but it's oddly fascinating. I'm not one with much of a sex life and have a difficult time just getting a date, so it makes me think a lot about how much confidence, enjoyment, and life fulfillment appears to be tied into relationships and sex, and that those who are on the more conventionally attractive side of it are privileged to experiencing it to a greater degree, and it very much seems that more younger couples are becoming comfortable with swinger lifestyles.
