So, we hung out last Wednesday.
Initially we planned to walk around the city on the weekend, but she doesn't have any breaks on weekends and her off days are usually on days when I'm working. So we compromised to meet for dinner near her workplace after her shift ended. Honestly? At first I was nervous but when we talked it felt so natural. We were both being ourselves, laughing and a bit of flirting here and there. But we mostly talked about our primary school memories. She smiled a lot and I love that she carried our conversations.
I'm planning to ask her if she wants to have lunch with me on her break this weekend. If she's down, I'm gonna make her cookies, although I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Would love for any ideas from you guys!
Edit: I see people are still commenting on the fact I described her as “out of my league”. I just copied the title from the original post. The original post was from a moment I was facing self-image issues which affected my confidence. But I’m in a better place now and feeling more confident than before, and still working on it.
