My last post gained a bit of popularity, so I thought I’d do an update on some more of the sweet things my boyfriend has done recently. It feels quite therapeutic to write them out and look back on them later to appreciate how lucky I am.
Tonight (and this week in general) he was especially sweet, so I thought I’d do a quick update on our plans for the future!
My boyfriend has been spending a bit of extra time at work, it’s been hard to see him this week as he’s been working later and starting earlier. I figured he was just working on a big job and needed some extra time, however he called me yesterday and asked whether I’d be able to help him set up a website for his business over the weekend as he really wants to focus on expanding and he’s been thinking about ways to go about it. I have a business/marketing degree and am now studying a design degree so I figured he just trusted me and wanted my help.
This afternoon he had to go to a friends birthday straight after work, I haven’t been feeling the best the past few days so I decided to stay home and rest. He texted me a few times to see how I was feeling and asked what I was up to. I complained that I hadn’t seen him yesterday or today and got in a bit of a mood about it. He then called me and said that he has been working extra hard because he’s trying to start saving to buy a house for “us”. I said that while I’d love to live together, I’m still studying and can’t afford to move out. He then said that it didn’t matter because he wants to buy the house for “us” and “our future” and that he will save enough to be able to put a deposit down and wants us to start our life together once he reaches his goal.
I’m really, really lucky to have found someone so committed to our future as a couple and honestly can’t wait to start our life together…
