Last week, I had written a post about how I had matched with a woman who ended up being a married "hotwife" who was intrigued by the fact that I was a 30something year old virgin and wanted to be my first time experience. I had my reservations about the situation, and there was a lot of good advice on here saying that I would in all likeliness regret it if I went through with it, and it would be better to continue waiting to at least meet someone who I knew better and liked me rather than a woman who probably just wanted to take my late blooming v-card.
It turns out that those of you who suspected that her motivations were only to satisfy her own were correct. The conversation over the next few days started to show signs of strain when she began replying less and not showing as much interest in the conversation despite me proactively making the effort. I brought this up and she gaslighted back at me saying that it wasn't her job as the woman to make the effort, how she had a ton of other options, that everyone is disposable.
My reply was just "Ok, Karen" and I unmatched and blocked her.
I don't mean to sound smug and do not want this to come off as a generalization against all woman, but it's really funny to me how this married woman who already has a husband and children, and was cute but also nothing incredibly special had this very high opinion of herself being someone that men should be grobbling over. I'm a very fit, pretty good looking, educated single guy, and I'll be damned if someone tries to make me feel like they're above me. If anything, the experience was a reminder that I'm worth a whole lot more than that.
I also hate the fact that I even considered any of it, but that says more about how grim the options are right now in the singles world.
