I sent him a message basically stating I knew he probably assumed I was crazy for reaching out but after seeing him on tinder I thought of how badly things ended and wanted to offer my peace in order to end on a better note rather than a bitter one. I proceeded with an apology as well as offering forgiveness due to the fact that I know we both have issues deeper than us that made us react this way. I wished him well and also said I was glad he liked the gift I bought him (a shirt I made and gifted him- he was wearing it in his photo).
I wasn’t expecting a reply back and I didn’t expect anything to come from it. No secret agenda of hoping to get his attention. I genuinely want to mature in an emotional sense as I have come to realize I am not necessarily developed in my ways of processing emotions or my reactions to it. Ever man in my life, starting with my father, has left me without explanation other than it not being convenient to them to have a relationship with me. Never what I have done to possibly push them away and I always feel so frustrated when I date and am left again. I know I could have handled my reactions better hence my swallowing of my pride and offer of apology.
He blocked me. He probably read it in his requested messages and immediately blocked me. I’m not wanting to chase him again but it just reassures me that, perhaps, I am making the right decision to move on. And maybe he has yet to develop his own maturity.
Thanks to Reddit for the lack of advice cause everyone told me not to message him but I honestly feel so much better
