Someone who ghosted me just started watching my instagram stories after 9 months of carefully avoiding watching any of them nor trying to reach out. I then realized he started on the day I posted a thing that probably reminded him of something we talked thoroughly about a couple times, or that he might have thought was referred to him. I’m just wondering why would he watch every single one of them after months of silence. I’m not naive, I know how these dynamics work, but something like this never happened to me before. I know he already ghosted in the past many friends and girlfriends. I feel so stupid since it still upsets me a bit after all this time, but the thing is we shared some very beautiful tender moments together, we opened up a lot about deep and personal stuff so it was not just a fling like any else… it’s kind of complicated. HE IS complicated, a lot. I’ve been wanting to send him a “clarifying” text for a long time and I’m wondering whether this is the right time or not. It’s just that I find sad how things ended and I just wished to keep a good memory of what happened and that’s it. There’s no hope for us, I have nothing to loose. I already tried to reach out once when he first ghosted me but got no reply. I’m just very undecided about what to do, my friends are divided between “maybe texting him would help you definitely moving on” and “absolutely don’t text”. (Sorry for posting this here but I wasn’t able to do so on r/ghosting!)
