This may not be the right sub, but I have to say it somewhere!
I recently started a new job. To try and keep things vague, all I'll say is that the type of industry it belongs to is high-risk and very physical, so needless to say I'm working now at a company with mostly young men in their early to mid 20s.
I haven't been dating much. I've been involved even less and it's been years now since I was intimate. And I'm surrounded. By good looking young men who are not only in their physical prime, but who do pushups for fun. And it's a good work environment – lots of laughing and joking around – and I've been included in that. Thankfully I'm in an administrative position so I'm not surrounded by them all the time, but the daily exposure is starting to make me keenly aware that it's been a while since I was with someone. Keenly.
I don't date co-workers, and I don't date usually date guys under 25. So water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. Agh!
