Went to a bar last night with a friend. Intended on having some wings for wingnight and sat down. Server was an absolute cutie and flirted a bit with me about beer recommendations. We had our beers and ate and she told us she was going to close us out because she was going to leave for the night. Decided this was my chance to ask, so I told her that I might need her beer recommendations in the future and if I could have her number so we could talk some more. And she gladfully gave it to me and a huge sense of relief overcame me.
That was a huge confidence boost and now I know I am capable of it. Even if it doesnt work out I am so glad I did it. Please just do it.
