What am I doing wrong? I haven’t been on a date in six years

I broke up with my girlfriend 6 years ago, every once in a while I remember the breakup conversation. I still see her but we don’t really talk as friends or anything we still talk on occasion but more in the moment stuff not like we used to. I still have feelings for her and even asked her out last year she said she’d think about it and let me know and being as naive as I am didn’t realize that was a nice way of saying no. Although her rejection sparked something in me I guess because I started becoming like a Joey Tribbiani and asking out women left and right let’s just say it hasn’t been as successful as it was for Joey. From September last year to probably like February of this year I’ve asked out tons of girls and I mean tons basically any girl I found attractive I would ask her out. I’m not even kidding all of them said no. Then the pandemic struck and through it I’ve been trying to make myself not care about love at all. Just not care and become more like one of my friends, focus my attention to other things. I can’t though I just love the intimacy and relationship with another person. Recently I’ve been pretending I have a girlfriend when I’m alone and create scenarios with them until reality strikes me and I realize there isn’t a beautiful brunette with freckles cuddling with me. I’m probably going insane I just felt like venting and maybe hearing from others. Thanks for reading this lengthy post!
