I live in a pretty rural area (Northern Michigan) where I haven’t noticed there to be many clubs or group activities for people my age. The few things I have attended were primarily filled with retirees and older people, which is fine but there haven’t been opportunities for meeting girls or even friends.
I don’t drink and am not into partying (not that I have any friends to invite me to any parties right now anyways lol). The idea of online dating seems, kind of weird to me. I’d try it, but I hate trying to take selfies (feels embarrassing to me) and the whole swiping things just seems kind of vain or something to me. That and when I have been on some apps it was a lot of girls that weren’t my type and I didn’t fare well with matches. I might try some dating apps again though.
Now that Covid restrictions are starting to lift a bit I wanna go out and try to meet people (girls and even just friends). What are some good places or ways that you have met girls at? For reference I like drawing and art, music, hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and animation. Im pretty introverted too (if you couldn’t tell haha). I’m trying to find ways that are more conducive to meeting girls around my age (24) and more my type.
I kind of think that the primary demographic here skews older so that’s part of the problem. And I live at home still which embarrasses me from approaching girls a bit but it’s not because I’m lazy or unambitious.
Any help would be great!
