I’m sick and tired of having to go through the talking phase over and over again. When I think talking to a guy and going on a few dates with him would lead to something he hits me with a “I don’t really see this going anywhere” text but “I had fun though”. I don’t get it. Maybe I’m impatient, but I always think something could happen and that the interests/feelings are mutual. If he knew it wasn’t going to lead to something I’d much rather have him tell me after the date where he realized it. Not the day of the next date. I don’t get it. It just takes me by surprise and I’m just shocked. Like what changed his mind? Was it something I did? I would ask him for a reason why he doesn’t see it going anywhere not really expecting a response and in no way would I try to make him change his mind, but I just really want to know why it wouldn’t work out. Idk, has anyone else been in this sort of situation before? Let me know.
