What do you need to carefully consider before deciding you’re ready to marry someone? (Other than the usual. i.e. kids, religion, money.)

My (23F) boyfriend (26M) is the first man I’ve dated who I can actually see myself marrying. But because of family histories, I’m terrified of divorce and therefore want to make sure I’ve got it all down before telling anyone I’m ready for life-long partnership.
