What makes a partner perfect for you?

Everytime I've seen answers to this question I always seem to see vague characteristics that is not definitive. Everyone has the capacity to be the things they describe. Examples of vague characteristics I've seen are things like kind, trustworthy, confident etc. Everyone has the capacity to be this and everyone thinks they are those things. You know the resume items that are of not much use to an employer? I wanted to hone in on what it is exactly that I am looking for in a partner and this is what I came up with:

• Attitude to monogamy – Do you agree on what kind of relationship you want whether it's an polygamous, monogamous or a different relationship style that I may not have heard of or have been exposed to.

• How do you view of "fun"? – How does that person unwind? Is it a quiet night in, a fun night socialising on the town or being adventurous with dopamine adventures (not sure what to call it) like weekend getaways, travelling, trying a new cooking style, trying that new strip club or adrenaline adventures like watersports, skiing, bungee jumping, sky diving etc)

• Attitude in a crisis – You're both going through something. How does this person respond? Do they make a plan of action, are they more empathetic and focus on emotions, do they prefer to just keep calm and carry on?

• Work/Life balance – Do you want someone who is ambitious and dont mind them sacrificing some aspects of their personal life because you admire their ambition or do you prefer them to put family above all else because it doesnt matter how much you have in the bank or how successful they are. They are happy with what they have.

• Who are they in a party? (Why this one? Because I think it might indicate how they relate to others) – Are they the social butterfly who focuses on getting to know everyone including the people you dont know, they are not by your side but it's ok because you love to watch them work the room? Are they by your side for most of the night but will make an effort to speak to your friends? Or, are they the quiet one always by your side which you feel comforted and you both crack jokes between you?

• Do they want kids? (This one is pretty self explanatory)

• Are they a decision maker? – Do they want to set the dates, make the first move or do you prefer to do those things? Or, do you want to alternate between you being a decision maker and them being a decision maker.

I think this might take some romance out of it but I'm hoping it might be helpful guide with my dating life! I will revisit my and change what I'm looking for as when it is needed but I was getting frustrated with feeling like a bag in the wind!
