At first I took the other persons silence as a sign that they obviously aren’t interested, but I’ve had so many message back after several days or even weeks and tell me that they’ve been busy and/or havent user the app, or thought they responded but didn’t – it seems like double texting can be a good way to remind them you exist and indicate that you’re still interested in them.
The key is to be friendly and not all snarky so I’ll say something like “this anticipation is killing me” or “for what it’s worth I was enjoying our chat and you seem like a genuine and interesting girl so shoot me back a message if you’re keen to keep chatting blah blah” or something like “more important question, what’s your favourite cocktail?”
But I’m not sure when the best time would be to send something. A day or two feels too needy and I mean I’ll take a rest from it every now and then too, but 5+ days and I feel like they’ve probably forgotten who I am (even tho that’s not always the case). But might also be worth waiting until a weekend so they probably have more time to chat?
Any advice?
