When you meet someone you really click with, how do you not rush right into a serious relationship if you can?

I tend to have a good picker (most of the time). As I get older I’ve found that many guys I like do want to a serious relationship and we tend to click really easily. I’ve learned that I can’t trust myself not to get swept up in the initial first few weeks with someone and to jump in head first.

This means that I start staying over their place, wanting to see them everyday. Talking about the future with them really quickly. I never know how to pump the brakes especially since it’s reciprocated.

Is there a easy to understand guideline on how to reign in a brand new relationship?
