I (19F) have been going on multiple dating apps. I’m hoping to find someone to go on a date with and see what goes on from there. I have spoken to multiple guys that I see some potential interest. However they will ghost me despite them mentioning about meeting up or wanting to go on a date and then dropping face off the earth if I agree.
I usually delete them off Snapchat if they ghost me after a period of time because I don’t want a bunch of dating app matches on my Snapchat unless I see potential in talking to them. Some of them message me when they realise only to ghost me again. One of them gave me a 3:00am “wyd” after ghosting me previously and then adding me on Instagram around a month later and liking my Facebook posts. When I replied they ghosted, they were obviously drunk but you get what I mean.
I can’t seem to talk to a guy to eventually go on a date. They either ghost or act dry within the first week. I don’t really show my face on snaps (because I feel really ugly due to quarantine) but they can still see me on other apps, I’m not a catfish. I feel like there’s something wrong with me and I’ll never find a guy who consistently wants to talk to me.
