hey there,
I (26/F) recently had a random add on facebook from a man without any mutual friends who lives in my area. He proceeded to message me and he said he wanted to get to know me.
I ran an experiment. I decided to act rude (This was not immoral in my eyes because anyone who is confronted with a rude response from someone they have never met has the ability to just not speak to end the interaction)
And once he persevered with the interaction I decided to act stupid. I mean really stupid.
I told him I wasn’t interested in him because of his job and then he persevered with the conversation (despite the fact I was being narrow minded and rude)
Then he began talking about current events and I told him I believed that the coronavirus was created by the army and that it was all a hoax made up by the army to sell masks.
My stupidity was consisted yet this man, who was seemingly intelligent, continued to try and pursue me.
If any man spouted such rubbish at me, regardless of what they looked like, I would not bother interacting further with him. However I don’t feel men react the same way.
From my experience, if men are attracted to you physically they’re pretty much willing to put up with anything else, no matter how god awful you are.
It’s kind of sad and makes me a bit hopeless about finding a relationship as most men have their priorities so wrong and are quite superficial tbh.
do men just care about looks?
