Not long ago I have moved to the US and I have noticed that some girls say yes when I propose a first date even though they are not interested and as a result they gradually fade away after that and the date never happens. Usually what happens is that we write 3 or 4 messages each with 2 to 4 lines, then I ask them out while also trying to keep the previous conversation going and they reply with `yes`, `sounds good` , 'probably day X is easier` or other similar answers. After that they either fade away or send a random excuse a couple of hours before the date. On the other hand, when I was living in Europe, girls were more likely to not answer me at all if they were not interested in the first date. The European approach is much better because it does not waste anybody's time. Why do so many girls in the US say yes when they actually mean no?
