Why do women want to be in a relationship?

I’m legitimately just wondering if it is for similar reasons as men or if it’s different. I get each individual has their specific desires as well and there’s probably a lot of variance like there is with men. I’m just speaking in general.

I think men that desire a relationship want a companion to share their life experiences with, they want to feel like they have connected to someone in a special way, and they desire to be able to explore their sexual desires with this same special person. I think that wraps it up. Then you get people’s specific additions. Is it basically the same for women? Maybe it’s a stupid question but I don’t know.
