Every time I [24 F] get a new crush, or start talking to a new guy, they ALWAYS reply slow. Last year I was texting a guy who would send long messages but reply every 3 or so days saying ‘sorry I can’t reply fast, I’m so busy!’
at the moment I’m texting a guy [29 M] who I matched with on bumble in February but we haven’t met yet because of lockdown. He’s also the same ‘sorry about the slow replies, I’m a bad texter and been busy.’ Then he’ll reply a week later with a long email style message and tell me that he’s looking forward to meeting me. Is there still a chance he’s interested?
I have NEVER experienced a guy replying promptly. This happened all the way through college. I get told I’m hot, I get a lot of matches on dating sites and I’m very good at sending thoughtful and engaging messages. I’ve even been asked out by a celebrity, but can’t even have regular texting with average guys I meet.
