Will she 23F lose respect or quit all association from me after I 23M tell her I’d like to take her on a date?

So her and I matched on Bumble awhile ago but nothing ever came from it. We ended up having the same class at university together this past semester and I could tell she seemed to have interest in me but was kind of shy about it. Unfortunately when the virus started and everyone had to go home things ended early. She texted me about 2 weeks after classes were canceled to see how I was doing and we carried a lengthy text conversation. Now, our class ended, and I want her to know that I like her and hope we can reconnect in the fall when school starts back again. I’m kind of afraid though that if I’ve read into things that aren’t there and she isn’t into me, that she’ll lose respect for me or stop liking my social media posts and all that by trying to distance herself from me after I reveal my intentions of wanting to take her on a date. Is this likely? In need of some advice.
