This may come off lame. A few months back, there was this guy in the same school club as I am in who talked of me to other members saying I was “cute”. We have never talked before neither did I know who he was at that point of time.
However, I must have gone insane because I felt a tad bit of attraction when I first saw him after that. I wasn’t sure what I was feeling but fast forward to today, I still think about him quite often yet has never gathered the courage to text him. I’ve heard stories of him being a chill and respectable guy and was one of the best players in the club. As compared, I am a bag of trash ready to be thrown out.
I have been wanting to drop him the first text but there are many things holding me back, so let me bring you guys through it. Firstly, I’ve heard that many guys do prefer girls to make the first move but what if he isn’t one of them? Secondly, it’s very common for both genders to make quick remarks of someone’s attractiveness and most times, these attractions don’t last, so perhaps I’m the fool here. Lastly, I have never been in a relationship before. Went out with a few guys but it ended pretty tragically (on my side) so with all honesty, I doubt I am good with guys.
It would mean a lot to me to receive some advice or experiences you guys have. The ultimate question is, should I DM him first?
