18f university student. Basically the title.
We’ve never spoken one to one but since it was a small class we aren’t complete strangers. When my class ended 2 weeks ago, I found the courage to request him on Instagram and he followed me back! 🙂 From what I’ve gathered by having the class with him (as well as social media), he seems like a super sweet dude and I really want to get to know him better.
The problem is I don’t know if this is a good time or situation to be messaging him? I literally found his instagram myself and he hardly knows who I am. Also there’s the fact our state is still on lockdown and both of us are actively participating in BLM protests. I can’t help but think that given how chaotic everything is right now, sliding into someone’s dms may be a bad move? But waiting too long after my class ended would also seem strange?
So should I shoot my shot or no?
