So basically I made out with a friend of a friend on New Year’s Eve. We then slept together in late January as just a hook up thing nothing serious. We were supposed to slept together again in early Feb but due to family circumstances it never happened.
I then started a new job late Feb that took me to a town about 5 hours away so nothing else ever came of it. After a little while I realized I had some feels for him after all. My contract was supposed to be up in early May and I was going to be back in town so I reached out and asked if we could hang out and he agreed. It was more of like a friendly thing though and less romantic or sexual.
Since then obviously Covid happened and I came back to town a lot earlier (mid March to be exact). Since then we have only spoken once and it was just him joking about my Instagram story, nothing interesting. Also obviously we never hung out in May. Since the restrictions where we live are starting to loosen up a little I was thinking about texting him.
I guess my question is would it be weird to reach out after all this time? Since he is a friend of a friend I may see him at a get togethers this summer depending on what happens with Covid but who knows. Idk would it be weird? I don’t even know if he’s romantically interested or if it was just a sexual thing. Some advice would be helpful thanks!
TL;DR: I want to know if it’s weird to text a guy after we slept together causally 5 months ago. I’ve caught romantic feelings and would have acted on them sooner if not for Covid.
