I met this guy on tinder and we’ve been texting since then, at least several texts a day. He’s very eager to reply to my texts and always replies super fast, making me think he hasn’t had a lot of matches.
We haven’t met in person but we have had a FaceTime date, and from that & his pictures, he’s not someone I would normally consider attractive. He is taller than me, but that’s it. I feel bad because we have so many interests and things in common and he seems quite intelligent.
I also sense that the frequency of his replies and the theme of his conversation (very gentlemanly, which is nice compared to the guys that ask you if you’re down for anal in the first messages) mean that he’s looking for a relationship, but he’s never said he is so that’s just my assumption. But I’m not ready to rush into anything serious again so soon.
Should I go on the date with him he’s got planned? It’s a whole dinner & movie thing, so I’m scared that if there’s no chemistry I’ll be awkwardly trapped there and feeling guilty and bad….
