Would you risk going on a public date during COVID?

I get life doesn’t stop with COVID, but this situation recently came up. Matched and started talking to this guy in the past 24 hours. He hits me with the “Do you want to go out to a big patio and stay a reasonable distance away from other people?”

My knee jerk reaction was to say no, because I’m not trying to risk my health with a guy I barely know apart from their puns, and to suggest a video chat. (Besides, cases in my state have been increasing since they relaxed literally everything this past May.) So now I’m curious: what would y’all do?

EDIT: My knee jerk reaction was to say no, and I did say no. I follow the COVID-19 situation for work, so I’m more cautious about these things based on this. I just wanted to get people’s thoughts because surely this is something we’re all navigating now.
