Would you take a sexually forward girl less seriously for a relationship *NSFW*

I’ve (26F) known a guy (27M) for about 3 years via long distance since meeting on OKC. When we first met he wasn’t ready for a relationship and then I eventually entered into a long-term relationship with another guy (who I’ve since broken up with months ago) so nothing ever came of it. But, he recently reached out and now this guy and I have reconnected. We’ve been talking since the end of February and we’ve both expressed that we still have interest in each other and would like to see if/where this relationship could go romantically.

We haven’t actually met in person yet to decide if we’d like to date long-term, but we generally keep up communications a 1-3 times a week. We tentatively set up a date to meet in about a month and it’s caused an increase in my sex drive and physical excitement toward him.

Recently, I’ve been wanting to engage with him in a more sexually forward manner and open the door for things like sexting, but I’m worried he won’t take me as seriously. It would be different if we just met, but it’s been 3 years so I have more of a desire for him. Plus, he’s the center of all of my sexual fantasies anyway and sexting/verbal play seems like it would be more effective and fun than anything else I could do on my own…

He’s offered to send me pictures, but I’m not quite ready for that yet (something I’d like to save for if we actually date…is that weird given my question lol?) But, he’s also expressed that sexting can be a slippery slope and he doesn’t want that to take center stage of our conversations.

Bottom line: question’s basically in the title. Would you feel less inclined to take a girl seriously for a romantic relationship who shows forward sexual initiative/wants to engage in sexting or verbal play before a first date? Am I way overthinking this or am I right to be hesitant and just tell my hormones to calm the hell down for the next month?
