A guy here with not a terrific amount of practice and experience. So I met this girl at work few months ago, we chatted a bit, flirted a bit, I asked her out, got her number, she agreed. But we are shift workers, and her shift ended yesterday, mine ends in two weeks. So my question is, how should I be texting her? I feel like if I keep flirting I'll smother her and scare her. But otherwise the conversations are a bit dry. I'm NOT putting her on pedestal, I just don't want to blow my chance with unnecessary neediness. But not being assertive enough is also a thing, right?
