Am I doing something wrong?

I've been online dating for a few months now. I match with a guy, we chat and I usually get ghosted. I've heard lots of guys complain that girls don't talk or give one word responses. I don't do that. I'll ask questions about their hobbies or whatever the conversation is about and they sometimes ask something back. I'll ask something about their lives then – poof! I never hear from them again. Usually it'll be a day of texting or a few days. What gives?

I'm (21F) and the men are usually 21-30.
