23F here. My first date with this guy I met on Hinge that took place over Zoom went well I hope, it lasted 4 hours; we were laughing a lot throughout the date, had good conversations, and discovered several interests we shared.

Like I mentioned in the title of this post, we already agreed to having a 2nd date some time next week. Now, it’s been 24 hours since we had our first date, why wouldn’t he have texted me since? Does that mean he’s not interested in talking (i.e texting) at all between now and our 2nd date? Is he waiting for me to initiate a conversation instead? Is he busy?

(I realize this might be a trivial thing to some, but just to add some context, I was traumatized by a past relationship a few years ago and ever since then, I’ve always put my guard up around any male that isn’t already a friend and it takes a very long time for me to make new male friends. Since my trauma, I literally second guess every word or action with any male who shows mutual interest in me. In addition, this is a break through for me, before I would’ve never met a stranger online but yes, the point is that I’ve come a long way since my trauma).
