Is it customary to say "goodnight" after the first date or is that just to relationship-y?

I realize I may be just overthinking things but just out of curiosity, I was wondering what others thought about this:

So I had a pretty good first date with this guy I met on Hinge that took place over Zoom lasting 4 hours; we were laughing a lot throughout the date, had good conversations, and discovered several interests we shared. Now when it came to the end of the date.. (mind you it was like 1 AM by then), we both decided it was time to go. Rather than say "goodnight" to each other.. we said a combination of "bye" or "talk to you soon"

Sidenote: during the date at some point, we did already make plans to see each other again next week!

Again, I know I could just be overthinking things. But I appreciate any input 🙂
