I’m going on my first date, but I have a couple questions

Hey everyone,

Next week I’m going on my first (ever) date with a girl I’ve been talking with. I’m excited but I also have a couple questions about it.

  1. Location: We’ll be meeting at a big open space, how am I going to find her? I know I eventually will but how do I avoid looking like a dumbass (place is unfamiliar too).
  2. Sunglasses: the sun will be shining non-stop. Whenever it’s sunny out I tend to squeeze my eyes to the point they’re almost closed. On the other hand it’s important that she sees my eyes.
  3. What to say when I first see her?
  4. Topics: Some fun topics to talk about. We’ve been talking a lot before meeting up because of Corona so the basic things are already asked.
  5. Body language: How about body language?
  6. Kissing: Is this something to do on a first date already (don’t think so though)? Also how do you go in for the kiss if the time comes
  7. Feedback: Should I ask at the end of the date what she thought of it?
  8. Feel free to comment any do’s or dont’s

This is all I can think about from the top of my head. I might edit this post if I come up with some more. You don’t have to respond to them all (or even any of them if you don’t want to) but any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for reading and sorry for the bad english!

How often should I text her until our date next month?

Hey,

I’m texting this girl for about 1 month now and she seems interested sending me 4-text replies to a simple question, laughing about the smallest things I say etc..

Anyway We have a date planned somewhere at the end of june when exams end. I don’t know how often I should text her until then. Basically I still want to have things to talk about when we meet because we’re talking about everything that people talk about on a first date currently. On the other hand I don’t want to let “the flame” to die out by texting less if you know what I mean.

What do you think? Thanks for reading!
