I (19M) was somewhat rejected (by 20F), and I feel so relieved(?)

So, I met this girl online a few months ago (you can see some of the developments in my post history). It went alright, but the conversations were a bit dry, even after we stopped talking for a while and then started talking again.

We met up for a date two days ago which was pretty alright, but then she barely texted afterwards, despite agreeing after I said that meeting her was pretty nice. So I hit her up with a message saying that if she thinks we’d meet up for a second date, and she said that she didn’t know because she doesn’t know how much it’ll work out.

I asked her then if she sees whether it could develop or not, and she said no, and I texted her a “best of luck and it was nice knowing you” text.

The relief is because this wasn’t certain at all, and being in the gray zone always pisses me off. If I hit on someone, I’d definitely want to know whether it’ll work or not, and I didn’t, until this point. She might’ve known but it wouldn’t have worked out if she kept me in this uncertainty.

So I’m relieved now, and back to the dating pool!

EDIT: sorry if there are any grammar mistakes. English is not my first language, and although I do speak almost fluently when I’m focused, I wasn’t this focused when I wrote this, hence the grammar mistakes. Being tired in the Anglosphere as an ESL sucks

I don’t know if I (19M) should go on a date with this girl I like (20F)

We set up a date, and we might even meet up tomorrow, but I don’t know. I planned on going to the university anyway (we go to the same one, but she lives in the other side of town and will come only to fix some technical issues), and she isn’t the primary reason I want to go but she’s a reason. We don’t live very close originally, so the university pretty much where we’d meet.

Anyway, there were a few red flags along the way, but I don’t know. It’s as if I’m more intrigued to see how it will be, since we’ve been talking so long, as opposed to being 100% attracted to her (I do like her, but I don’t know). I talked to a friend of mine, and she said that if she were me she’d dump her and move on because she played me a bit (since there was some fishy stuff coming from her)- but still, I’m intrigued.

Should I go? Should I not?
