"You’re not the right person to make your job exciting"

So i got this message about as soon as i started a convo with a match on OLD. I’m generally very chill and laidback but i found this statement a bit off putting – nothing too much to fuss about but when i told my match i was offended he just went on to say im taking it too seriously.

I really wasn’t – but this statement gives me the idea he was the kind of person who needs positive vibes 24/7 and these guys most likely won’t handle issues like a grown man / run at the first sight of conflict. I mean he is saying no job is boring and everything can be made exciting by the right people. I on the other hand, believe a job can be made exciting around the right people.

Anyway we’re definitely not vibing and all i had to say to him was he was just like my brother lol. What do you guys think of this statement? Am i judging him way too soon? I’ve been through way too many matches to bother with people who can’t handle conflicts but the mere thought of me dropping this guy makes me wonder if i’m the one who can’t handle this conflict. But I think we just don’t vibe at the same frequency?

Question to those who spent more than weeks of communication getting to know someone and then decided to ghost. Why did you do it?

I’d really like to hear this from the perspective of people who devoted a long time into telling your counterparts how much you care about them and then flipped in less than 24 hours.

What made you do it? Was it an issue between you two that you knew deep down wasn’t going to go away? Found someone you connected with better? Or they just turned out to be different from your expectations? Were you suddenly hit with the realization that you needed to do some soul searching? Does the person you ghosted ever cross your mind again?

Personally i haven’t been ghosted too far into a relationship (too far here being months for me), but seeing all the same sad loop here, sometimes i do wonder how people can make a 180 degrees and drop all the efforts up to that point to suddenly not be interested anymore.
