So I've recently started dating a single mother. No kids of my own unless you count dogs (No… just no) both of us are 27. Her kiddo is 7 and his father plays an active role in his life. Shes stated shes not looking to replace the father in his life and I'm not interested in taking on a full time father role. Not opposed to being a step parent either. Obviously she wants me to care and love her child as my own which I like to think I would. At the moment she wants to wait on me meeting her child so they dont see a bunch of guys coming and going from his mothers life like a revolving door. I've never dated a single mom before. I really like this gal and would like to continue this relationship. What advice would you give for someone for the first time in a relationship where kids are involved?
