Dating a virgin in his early 30s

I have been chatting with this 31 year old guy I met on a dating app for a few weeks and we like each other, but haven't met yet.

When I asked him a question about sexuality, he told me that he has never had sex with a woman before and that the only relationship he has ever been on was a long distance one that lasted several years but never ended in a real life date as they lived in different countries.

He said that he has been completely focused on his career as a scientist and neglected his personal life but recently decided it was time to start looking for someone.

I have never dated a virgin before and am not sure what it would be like and how I should behave if things lead to intimacy after we meet. I am also looking for a long term partner and I wonder if a guy who has never been in a real life romantic relationship and has no experience in the matter would be able to build something together.
