So I (F27) had been talking to a guy (M30+) for over a month, it's been amazing, he let me know how much he appreciated me and i do him too. Until he did a complete 180 when he found out i had a different faith.
I kind of knew he might be religious all along (i'm not), and i'd tried to drop some hint saying i don't celebrate a certain…celebration. He didn't ask me anything back then. I dropped something more obvious for him recently and he was SO surprised. He told me he needs some time to think and did set a time to talk to me later this week but I can't help but feel a bit hurt about it… am i wrong to keep this from him this long? He didn't say anything hurtful, or bad at all, but the way he reacted made me think this was all kind of disgusting… all along he called me kind and sweet and now i feel like i'd been reduced to one thing.
I get it, it's a major dealbreaker… but i'm so tired of being heartbroken.
