How do you know you are cat-fishing your dates?

So, we all put our best pics up, but the double edged sword to that is that we may come across as not as good looking as our photos.

I would I have had a ton of dates where things go incredibly well over text/phone, only to meet in person and the interest level drops off, you can just tell there is a sign of disappointment.

I don't lie about my height, or my weight, and dress pretty well. But, I do select pictures that are very very good and put me in the best light. The pics are all recent (within the last year).

Is it possible as a guy to "catfish" your dates by picking pictures that are really good?
