This is something I (31M) think may be a problem on my first dates, that I open up too much and show too much of myself.
Should you stay mysterious and only give vague answers, or is it okay to elaborate on things?
Let's say that the girl asks me about where I like to travel. Should I say "I like to travel everywhere, but I've mostly been around western Europe and the U.S" instead of "I love travelling, I've been everywhere but my absolute favourite is Spain because my father lives there. I go there about 3-4 times a year to visit."?
It's difficult to remember every question and thing I tell about myself, but as a person I'm really open and don't mind telling people about me, but maybe I should be a bit more reserved and not say too much about me? I heard mystery and intrigue is a big part of dating.
