Why is there a lot of talk about how people aren’t entitled to anything, but not many posts about how society would be better off if some "entitled requests" were the standard?

“You aren’t entitled to an explanation to why you are getting ghosted””You aren’t entitled to an explanation to why he/she doesn’t like you”Etc. etc.

Yeah, maybe not, but wouldn’t society be a much better place if we could just be honest with each other instead of just running away from uncomfortable situations?Sure, you aren’t entitled to anything, but wouldn’t the dating scene be so much easier if people were just honest and open about things? People who have trouble dating would have a much easier time improving, as they would get proper feedback as to how to improve instead of getting the silent treatment.

I think that we as a society have grown accustomed to only care about what makes us, ourselves, happy, but not what makes the group happy. Society is so individualistic nowadays that people simply don’t care about other people, and rather take the most comfortable route, which is also more often than not focused one oneself with no regard for their fellow human beings. We focus on what makes us feel good, rather than making things easier for those around us, even if they make us uncomfortable for the moment, and when people disagree with those ways of handling, the easiest way of handling it is just saying “you’re entitled!”, instead of doing some introspective.

I don’t like getting ghosted, I doubt anybody do. I don’t handle it by spamming the one ghosting or try to get their attention, instead I just sigh and move on, but that doesn’t mean that I endorse or like the behaviour. I think ghosting people is childish and selfish behaviour that I wish would just go away, and that people would start to think about their fellow people, as we are all in it together. I always tell someone if I don’t want to talk to them again, and why. Even if it’s extreeeeemely uncomfortable for me, I believe it’s still better than just staying silent.

How much should you let the other person get to know about you on the first date?

This is something I (31M) think may be a problem on my first dates, that I open up too much and show too much of myself.

Should you stay mysterious and only give vague answers, or is it okay to elaborate on things?

Let’s say that the girl asks me about where I like to travel. Should I say “I like to travel everywhere, but I’ve mostly been around western Europe and the U.S” instead of “I love travelling, I’ve been everywhere but my absolute favourite is Spain because my father lives there. I go there about 3-4 times a year to visit.”?

It’s difficult to remember every question and thing I tell about myself, but as a person I’m really open and don’t mind telling people about me, but maybe I should be a bit more reserved and not say too much about me? I heard mystery and intrigue is a big part of dating.
