I got rejected twice by the same girl 2 years apart.

First time I asked her out, she said she wasn't looking for a relationship 2 years ago

We were still cordial with each other and kept in touch randomly here and there, and around 2 years later, she told me she's open to the possibility of dating and might have feelings for me

We agreed to go on a date – however, during the date, she kind of realized that she wasn't comfortable with touch including holding hands, etc. and told me afterwards she doesn't think she can start a new relationship in her last year of her Masters. We had good conversations for about 3 hours including about what we're looking for in the future etc.

I'll be going back to dating apps and be cordial but keep my distance. She said she'll be in a better place when she's finished her Masters and she knows I'm not going to be waiting for her as I'm on dating apps. Also, she's never dated before or had a relationship as she's focused on school.

I'm happy I got this answer though because I would've been thinking "what if" otherwise. However, if she was to come around in a few months/next year asking me to try again – I'm not sure what I would do. Any advice?

TLDR: Girl rejected me 2 years ago, then recently told me she's open to dating, however, she's prioritizing school and said she likes me but can't handle a new relationship now.
